Effie Dimoula has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from New York University, with specialization in developmental disorders. This specialization concerns children with motor difficulties, mainly from birth.
She worked for 10 years at New York’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt-Beth Israel hospital, in the department of early intervention and assessment of infants and toddlers.

Furthermore, she was chief of physical therapy at the state daily programme of the state of New York. For many years she has provided assessment, consulting and therapy services at public schools of New York (kindergarten, elementary, high-school) under the stamp of the Ministry of Education.
For the past years she has been working at special education centers and privately in Greece.

She has participated in numerous seminars and workshops in America and Europe, has been invited as a speaker at physical therapy conventions, and also writes articles for the daily press.
Her 25 year clinical experience in pediatric physical therapy has shaped her particular functional therapeutic approach, which is based on modernised theories of motor control and motor learning.
